A birth map is flexible and responsive, offering guidance through the twists and turns of labour — unlike a fixed plan, it supports informed choices no matter how your birth unfolds.
Our course offers a creative and grounded process for building your birth map. This course is for you if you are seeking to communicate clearly and make informed, values-based decisions.

2× 2 hour in person group sessions

Session 1 on 10th June: Values, Vision & Support (2 hours, in person)
A grounding session designed to help you connect with what matters most.
We’ll explore:
Your personal values and beliefs around birth
Decision-making frameworks that feel aligned and empowering
Roles of birth support people and how to prepare them
Tools and techniques for comfort, calm and confidence
Creating your vision for a supported, satisfying birth – whatever it may look like
Session 2 on 8th July: Interventions & Alternate Pathways (2 hours, in person)
A practical and compassionate session that prepares you for the “what-ifs” without fear.
We’ll explore:
Common medical interventions: what they are, when and why they’re offered
Your rights and options in each situation
Birth pathways such as fast birth, induction, caesarean, assisted birth
How to stay centred and supported when plans shift
Creating adaptable preferences so your birth feels informed and empowered – no matter the outcome
The ticket price covers the cost of the mother or birthing person and a partner or support person.
